A woodworking shop that fixes what you have and builds what you need
Grace Woodwork is a working shop in Kilgore with three or four people at the benches. Furniture comes in tired, loose or water-marked and goes home sound. Tables, cabinets, shelves and signs get built to the room they are going into rather than to a catalog size.

Everything leaves here by hand
Grace Woodwork is a working shop in Kilgore. Pieces come in on a trailer, get taken apart on the bench, and go back out finished. There is no production line, and no guessing at what you wanted. The same people who build or repair a piece are the ones who load it onto the truck.

Do you repair old furniture, or only build new pieces?
Both. Repair and refinishing covers loose chairs, water-ringed tables, lifted veneer and tired finishes on family pieces. Building to order covers dining tables, benches, beds, cabinets, built-in shelves and signs. Tell us which you need, or send a photo if you are not sure.
How do I find out what a job will cost?
Send a photo with the quote form below or by Facebook Messenger, or call 903-445-7477. A phone picture is usually enough to say whether it is a simple fix or a bigger job. You get a real number before any work starts, and nothing is quoted without seeing the piece, in person or in photos.
Which towns do you work in?
The shop is in Kilgore. We take work from Longview, White Oak, Gladewater, Overton, Troup, Henderson, Tyler, Marshall, Lindale, Big Sandy, Gilmer, Arp, New London and Hallsville, and we have driven as far as Lufkin when the job was worth the trip.
Can you paint or reface my kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?
Yes. If the cabinet boxes are solid, painting them or refacing them with new doors and drawer fronts keeps the layout you have and avoids a full tear-out. See cabinet painting and cabinet refacing.
